FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, DECEMBER 30, 2002 - HITT Contracting Inc. has promoted two Senior Project Managers, Peter T. Lanfranchi and Jim R. Whitney, to Vice President and one Senior Vice President, Yogen R. Patel, to Executive Vice President.

Yogen R. Patel has been with the company since 1990 and has more than 24 years experience in the A/E/C industry. Mr. Patel will continue to manage HITT’s institutional market sector and will be more involved with business development. Mr. Patel has overseen the successful completion of numerous award-winning educational and religious facilities. His expertise features various interior construction projects including some in technically complex environments. Mr. Patel received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology at the New York Institute of Technology.

Peter T. Lanfranchi joined HITT in 1997 and has more than 14 years experience in the construction industry. Named DCMSA’s “Project Manager of the Year” in 2001, he has been responsible for the management of a diverse range of high-end projects as well as intricate, special-use facilities. Some notable projects Peter has managed include The Hay-Adams Hotel, Prince George’s Hospital, Bethesda Country Club, and Covenant Life Church.

Jim R. Whitney, who has been with HITT Contracting since 1994, has over 15 years experience in the construction industry. He specializes in and has supervised numerous IDIQ-Task Order contracts as well as tenant renovations and build-outs where special attention is paid to quality control, project scheduling and owner/architect communications. Some notable projects Jim has managed include The World Bank, National Cancer Institute, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
