FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA – (SEPTEMBER 5, 2002) – HITT Contracting Inc. has hired two Senior Project Managers, Michael E. (Mickey) Taff and Gary S. Christensen, to their Base Building Division. Taff is assigned to work out of HITT’s Rockville, Maryland, office on the Montgomery County Conference Center, and Christensen is working out of HITT’s Fairfax headquarters on Sallie Mae’s headquarter consolidation, among other projects.

Michael E. Taff was hired in August 2002 and has over 20 years experience in the A/E/C industry. Mickey won the 1998 ABC Washington “Project of the Year” award for the $20 million+ category. He has held various supervisory positions in the management of a diverse range of projects from large-scale renovations to new construction. His expertise features various base building construction, tenant renovation and build-out projects.

Gary S. Christensen joined HITT in August 2002, from Flippo Construction Company, Inc., and has over 20 years experience in the A/E/C industry. His expertise features various base building construction, tenant renovation, and build-out projects. Some notable projects Gary has managed include Jack Kent Cooke Stadium (FedEx Field) and the Kennedy Center.
