CONTRACTING INC. MARKETING TEAM HONORED WITH INDUSTRY AWARDS |

| FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, JUNE 9, 2004 – HITT Contracting’s marketing department was recognized for their creativity in developing two unique concepts in marketing professional services. The first was for Best Publicity Campaign entitled HITT Ads -- a two-tier concept that focused on HITT’s projects/values in the first year and HITT’s powered by the people theme for the second year, which is currently underway. The second was for Best Corporate Events Program entitled A HITT Christmas Carol for which HITT commissioned a private performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at the historic Ford’s Theatre with a private, Victorian-era themed reception in the Old Ebbitt Grill atrium. This event occurred December 7, 2003. These awards were given as part of SMPS’ Washington, D.C., Virginia
and Chesapeake Chapter Regional Marketing Communications Awards program.
SMPS is the Society for Marketing Professional Services. In August 2004,
HITT’s marketing department will receive two more awards from the
National Marketing Communications Awards program during the black-tie
event at the national conference in New York City. With these latest awards,
HITT Marketing will be honored with 19 marketing awards in seven years.
