FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, MAY 5, 2004 – The project for Green Door at 1221 Taylor Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. received two awards from the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of IIDA (International Interior Design Association). The first was a Silver Award, Commercial I category (between 20,000 s.f. and 100,000 s.f.); the second was a Special Merit award for Sustainable Design, Commercial I category (between 20,000 s.f. and 100,000 s.f.). Envision Design, PLLC was the design firm. These awards were given as part of IIDA’s 2004 awards program. The event was held at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Rooftop Terrace Restaurant.
