FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, APRIL 21, 2004 – HITT Contracting Inc. recently hired three senior project managers to work on projects out of their headquarters office in Fairfax, Virginia.

Jerry M. Brandmueller joins HITT with more than 25 years construction experience. He specializes in fast track technically oriented, design/build, hard bid and GMP projects. His broad array of work ranges from estimating to project management on Class "A" office buildings, heavy industrial projects, central utility plants, and mission critical facilities. Mr. Brandmueller holds a degree in mechanical engineering and is the author of two technical books on plumbing and pipefitting.

Athena I. Thomas joins HITT from Chicago with over 20 years experience in general contracting, construction management, program management and design consulting in the United States and Europe. Her experience includes high-rise office and mixed-use construction, education, laboratory, aviation and large-scale residential projects for clients such as Chicago Public Schools, Bank-One, and the Illinois Institute of Technology. Mrs. Thomas is an Adjunct Professor for IIT's Graduate School of Architecture and a member of the United States Navy Reserve.

Michael D. Winstead joins HITT from Chicago, bringing more than 20 years of experience in general contracting, construction management, program management, and consulting with clients in the United States, Europe, and Asia. His diverse experience includes commercial, high-rise, technology, and healthcare construction for clients, including Sears Merchandise, Fuji Photo Film, Michael Reese Hospital, and the City of Chicago. Mr. Winstead also serves in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
