FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, FEBRUARY 22, 2003 – HITT Contracting Inc. was the recipient of D.C. Metropolitan Subcontractors Association’s (DCMSA) W.D. Connelly Founder’s Award for Outstanding General Contractor ($50+ Million in Total Revenue). Each year since 1966, this award is voted by DCMSA’s membership and given to the general contractor who is deemed as having aided the subcontracting industry by outstanding administration, efficient field supervision and fair financial practices on a continuing basis.

DCMSA President Sheldon Shapiro stated, “There would be no subcontractors without general contractors, or owners/developers, and the viability of subcontractors would be uncertain without the concern and interest of our elected representatives. Through these awards, MSA seeks to publicly recognize the exceptional contribution of all the nominees.”

HITT Contracting has been a past recipient of this award in 1995 and 1998.
